What We Believe

Social media is broken. We're here to fix it.

For too long, platforms have been designed to extract value from users and creators to enable profits for executives and shareholders. Algorithms optimize for addiction, not satisfaction. Content is increasingly fake, overly polished through excessive editing and filters, or outright deepfakes. Free speech is negotiated by corporate committees influenced by special interests. Creators are paid pennies (if they're lucky) while platforms take billions.

This ends now.

Our Principles

1

Authentic Human Expression Over AI Slop

We stand with real humans creating authentic content. Every video on JellyJelly is made by a person, in the moment, without filters, without editing, without needing to worry about the Turing Test. We refuse to let social media become a dumping ground for AI-generated spam that drowns out real voices.

AI is a technology that should enhance human expression, not replace it. By integrating AI summaries and captioning, we are uplifting the real work of our genuine creators.

2

Users and Creators Control Their Experience

Users should control what they see and have autonomy to be rewarded for making original content. We hope to eventually build user-weighted recommendation algorithms where YOU decide what matters: genuine engagement over watch time, substance over rage bait, fulfillment over doom scrolling.

You control your experience and customize it to help you, rather than increase your screen time.

3

Decentralized Creator Rewards

Creators deserve to be rewarded directly by their communities, not through platform middlemen who dictate arbitrary limitations that allow them to take more surplus from their users.

Through Web3 integration and memecoin donations, we're pioneering decentralized rewards that puts the power in creators and viewers' hands.

4

Uncensored Free Speech

We believe in free expression. While others censor, shadowban (sometimes not even alerting their creators), and algorithmically suppress, we commit to being a platform where real voices are heard.

While we will always prioritize the safety of our community, we will not limit creators from speaking their minds. The world improves through discourse, not silence. And we hope to provide a beacon for honest communication and genuine dialogue.

5

Anti-Brainrot, Pro-Connection

Current social media creates isolation, unrealistic standards, and contributes to the growing mental health epidemic. We reject doom scrolling, bed rotting, and the addiction based design philosophy that has taken hold of social media companies.

We are designing JellyJelly to foster authentic human connections, not to keep you scrolling until 3am comparing yourself to the best 1% of someone else's life. JellyJelly is about showing the truth, blemishes and all, giving users the confidence to be their true selves.

6

Community-Driven Development

We do not want to build in a vacuum. Our network of creator investors, super users, entrepreneurs, and Web3 community will continue to provide constant feedback.

We're building social media to represent the people who use it.

Our Commitments

To Creators

  • You will own your relationship with your audience
  • You will be rewarded directly and transparently
  • You will not be punished for being authentically yourself
  • You will have a voice in how this platform evolves

To Users

  • Your time and attention will be respected
  • Your experience will be determined by your preferences, not our profits
  • You will talk to real humans, not bots and AI personas

To the Industry

  • We will prove that social media can empower rather than exploit
  • We will demonstrate that decentralization and user control are not just buzzwords, but a symbiotic multi-dimensional stakeholder model that supports long-term success
  • We will prove that authentic content can win over polished entertainment
  • We will always support the wellbeing of our users and society as a whole

What We Reject

Manipulative corporate censorship
The lie that creators must become a caricature to gain engagement on social media
Executives getting rich while successful creators are barely rewarded

Our Vision

Social media should enhance the human experience, not take control of it.

Social media companies should reward authenticity, not automated content.

Social media should connect people together and allow them to build real communities, not create toxic parasocial relationships.

Social media should be built for users and creators, not AT THE EXPENSE of users and creators.

JellyJelly is social media reimagined.
