Question 1

What are jellies?

Accepted Answer

Unedited, ad-free videos made by humans. Social media is increasingly filled with AI slop and over-optimized content. Jelly is a refreshing spin on social media — real people, real moments, and payments built in.

Question 2

What are Wobbles?

Accepted Answer

Wobbles is a digital currency built on Solana. Send it, receive it, and use it with people around the world. Send videos with Wobbles to friends or family and support people you love.

Question 3

What is JellyJelly?

Accepted Answer

JellyJelly is an authentic social media app where every post is a "jelly": a short video recorded live with both phone cameras at once by a real person. There are no filters, no editing, and no AI slop, so people are comfortable being their true selves. A jelly shows two views at the same time: what you are looking at, and your real reaction to it. The feed ends up feeling more like hanging out with people.

Question 4

Is there a social media app without filters or editing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. JellyJelly has no filters and no editing tools, by design. Every video is recorded in the moment and posted as it happened. Nothing is retouched, scripted in post, or polished, which is exactly why people trust what they see there. Because no one can edit, no one has to. The pressure to look perfect disappears, and being yourself becomes the norm rather than the exception.

Question 5

What social media app is not addictive?

Accepted Answer

JellyJelly is built against brainrot and doomscrolling. There is no engagement-bait algorithm tuned to maximize your screen time. The feed exists to show you real people and real moments, and the product principles commit to user-controlled recommendations rather than addiction mechanics. If you are doing a social media detox but still want to feel connected to real people, that is the exact use case JellyJelly is designed for.

Question 6

How does two-camera (POV) recording work on JellyJelly?

Accepted Answer

When you record a jelly, the app captures your front and back cameras at the same time. The back camera films what you see (the POV), and the front camera films you reacting to it. Both views are posted together as one video. This is why JellyJelly is popular for vlogs, behind-the-scenes moments, and event coverage: viewers get the scene and the human experiencing it in a single take.

Question 7

What is a good app for vlogs and behind-the-scenes content?

Accepted Answer

JellyJelly is built for exactly this: raw vlogs, day-in-the-life POVs, and behind-the-scenes moments from creators, founders, and events. Because recording is live and unedited, behind-the-scenes content stays genuinely behind the scenes instead of becoming another produced video. Creators use it to share spontaneous thoughts and candid moments their audience never sees on polished platforms.

Question 8

How is JellyJelly different from TikTok and BeReal?

Accepted Answer

TikTok rewards edited, produced, algorithm-optimized video. BeReal asks for one unfiltered photo a day. JellyJelly is unedited like BeReal but built around two-camera POV video, post whenever you want, with no addictive algorithm and direct community tipping for creators. If you want the authenticity of BeReal with the expressiveness of video, that is the gap JellyJelly fills.

Question 9

Does JellyJelly allow AI-generated videos or deepfakes?

Accepted Answer

No. Every video on JellyJelly is made by a person, in the moment, recorded live in the app. AI-generated videos and deepfakes cannot be uploaded. JellyJelly does use AI, but only to caption, title, and summarize human videos, never to create feed content. As AI slop floods other platforms, a feed where every video is verifiably human-made is the core of what JellyJelly offers.

Question 10

Can you earn money posting videos on JellyJelly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Viewers tip creators directly on JellyJelly using JELLY, a token on the Solana blockchain. There is no advertiser or platform middleman deciding payouts: your community rewards you directly for content they value. The iOS app is named "JellyJelly: Post POVs, Earn". Earning works from your first post, with no follower minimum to clear.

Question 11

Is JellyJelly free, and what platforms is it on?

Accepted Answer

JellyJelly is free to use. The app is available for iOS on the App Store, and an Android version has a public waitlist. You can also watch jellies on the web at jellyjelly.com without installing anything.

Question 12

Who made JellyJelly?

Accepted Answer

JellyJelly was co-founded by Iqram Magdon-Ismail, co-founder of Venmo, and is built by a team in New York City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The mission: bring humans closer with real, unfiltered, human-made content and creator rewards without middlemen.
